A.A. Offers Online Groups

My uncle, my late father's only brother, passed away last year. I drove seven hours to Grove City, PA, to say goodbye. I stayed with my mother for several days and decided to check out A.A. meetings in town.

I was able to find a meeting three of the days I was there. And probably there were more if I had expanded my search. But if I lived there and was working or had other commitments at the designated times, I couldn't have attended that day. I was used to choosing from among 400-plus meetings every week  in Louisville where I live.

Today I discovered a new A.A. resource I hadn't been aware of. There is a series of online intergroup meetings you can join to fill in the gaps when you can't physically attend at a time and a place near you. You choose from available groups and sign up. I haven't done that but would like to hear from someone who has tried it. Do online intergroup meetings work for you?
